About Echtra

Echtra is dedicated to exploring immersion in the worlds of film and spatial design.

The name "Echtra" comes from Old Irish, meaning "expedition" or "adventure into the otherworld." Just as the heroes of Celtic mythology stepped through the mist into unseen realms, we too venture beyond our everyday work into uncharted territories of creative expression.

Every member holds a separate professional career, yet together we draw on film, sound design, spatial production, and interactive technology to craft experiences that immerse the viewer in the work itself. Reaching beyond our individual specialties to collaborate and give shape to new forms of immersion — that journey is our own "Echtra."
